Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Categories

FMSI publishes the following types of papers:

  • Research Articles – Empirical or theoretical studies contributing new insights.
  • Review Papers – Comprehensive analyses of existing research on a specific topic.
  • Case Studies – Real-world applications or problem-solving approaches in management and social sciences.
  • Conceptual Papers – Theoretical discussions proposing new frameworks or perspectives.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 Formatting

  • Manuscripts should be written in English.
  • Use 12-point Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, and 1-inch margins.
  • Main headings should be in bold, and subheadings in italic.
  • Articles should be between 5,000 – 8,000 words, including references.

2.2 Title Page

A separate title page should include:

  • Manuscript title (concise and informative).
  • Author names and affiliations (with corresponding author's email).
  • An abstract of 200-250 words summarizing the research.
  • 3-5 keywords relevant to the study.

2.3 Citation and Referencing

  • Follow the APA (7th edition) referencing style.
  • In-text citations: (Smith, 2023) or (Smith & Johnson, 2023, p. 45).
  • References list example:
    • Smith, J. (2023). Title of the book. Publisher.

2.4 Figures and Tables

  • Numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 2).
  • Provide captions and ensure high resolution (minimum 300 DPI).
  • Tables should be included within the main text, not as separate files.

3. Peer Review Process

  • FMSI follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartiality and integrity.
  • All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment for relevance, originality, and adherence to submission guidelines.
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject area.
  • Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and practical implications.
  • Authors receive constructive feedback and may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
  • The final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
 

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
